#242 Granting full membership Fedora Join SIG
Closed: Fixed by alciregi. Opened by andilinux.

Hey folks,

I'd like to as ask kindly, if you can grant me a full membership for Fedora Join SIG. I have checked that I fulfill all conditions for this status. (subscription mailing-list, active in release cycles, active in groups (Ask Fedora, QA, D&I, Fedora Podcast).

Thx in forward!

Cheers

Andi

I would also like to join Fedora SIG, please grant me permission too. :)

@andilinux is very active in helping people on Ask Fedora. In recent times he is also very active in welcoming people in the Join's Telegram group (and related bridges).
As far as I can see, he meets all the required criteria.

I'm +1 to add @andilinux to the fedora-join FAS group.

@team. As a side note: too many times I read "you can contribute without any membership". I feel myself repetitive. But I think that contributing being part of a simple FAS group (even if such FAS group doesn't grant any special right) is, from the contributor POV, more compelling than contributing without any formal recognition.

Hrm, probably worth a different ticket, but aren't badges supposed to be the things that provide folks with recognition for things they do? Should we talk about those more than FAS memberships maybe?

Well.
Since there aren't negative opinions and two +1, I will add your user to the Fedora-Join FAS group.

Welcome!
