Hello @korora ! Welcome to Fedora!
Before we begin, please subscribe to the Fedora join mailing list at fedora-join@lists.fedoraproject.org. We use this list for general discussion, and it is also where the community shares tasks that need help.
These links are a good read to begin with. They tell you what the Free/Open Source community is about, and then they'll introduce you to Fedora: what Fedora is all about, and what we do, and of course, how we do it:
Next, when you're ready, could you please introduce yourself (preferably on the list) so that the community can get to know you? (Interests, skills, anything you wish to say about yourself really).
Finally, could you let us know how you learned about the Fedora project? Was it from a colleague, or social media, for example?
If you have any questions at all, please ask! We'll use this ticket to keep in touch! :)
In addition, could you provide some information to understand your requirements better? (You can write them in the introduction, or answer here if you feel more comfortable).
For example:
your experience with Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) communities/ecosystems:
your background/skills, for example:
your experience in communication platforms:
how much time are you looking to/are you able to spend on volunteering (approximate hours per week)?
Remember that this is not a job interview at all. This is just an icebreaker to help all your new friends get to know you quicker. The better we know you, the better we can support you in identifying Fedora activities that promise to be relevant for you.
Please write how much/whatever you wish. :).

I have been using Free and Open Source Software on and off for the last ten years on the desktop and fifteen years on the server. I've used various distributions for various tasks, but have settled on Fedora across the board. I run the KDE edition on my workstation machines and Server on my server.
I spend a lot of time on the command line, using vim and git to store my personal writing. I feel like I have a fairly firm grasp on the English language and I am already starting to work on documentation for the Server Working Group as well as other testing within the Server Working Group. I am also learning how to leverage Ansible in my home environment, as I spin up and destroy VM's to test items. I'm an avid learner and I firmly believe that you learn something new every day, even if you don't realize that you have learned something new.
As a person that does a lot of writing, I feel that one of my greatest strengths is in taking something that is complicated and making it easier for the layperson to understand. While I will be also helping to test software, I will be working on docs, both editing existing ones and, hopefully spreading my knowledge via how-tos and similar documentation.
I am an avid Amateur Radio operator and am on numerous mailing lists for various topics within the hobby, with my primary focus being digital modes, most of which are free and open source software. I can be found on either matrix (@korora:fedora.im) or on Discord (@korora).
I can commit 5-10 hours a week volunteering, dependent on my health and other commitments in my life.
Hopefully, this lets everyone get to know me a little better.
