#134 "Please verify Internet connectivity" message in Discover on Fedora Kinoite
Closed: Fixed by siosm. Opened by asciiwolf.

Latest, fully updated Fedora 35 Kinoite installed in GNOME Boxes. When opening Discover, "Please verify Internet connectivity" message is displayed on its main page:

Also, all Flatpak app results seem to have generic icons instead of their correct ones:

It looks like that it stopped happening after adding the Flathub repository (using https://flatpak.org/setup/Fedora/), however Discover now displays "Loading..." and generates disk activity for 5 minutes every time I open it, before displaying any actual results. Also, when searching for available apps in KDE application menu and clicking the results, all Flathub results display an "Cannot open appstream://foo.desktop" error. So, maybe there is something broken on my side (but it is a clean, fully updated F35 Kinoite installation in GNOME Boxes) or there is another bug.

The icon problem with Fedora Flatpak apps looks to be a separate issue. I have created a new ticket for it: #136

The problem with slow loading after adding Flathub remote also looks to be a separate issue. I have created a new ticket for it: #137
