It was released two weeks ago and contains improvements that make Discover significantly faster for Flatpaks. See https://invent.kde.org/plasma/discover/-/merge_requests/458, which will land in Plasma 5.27.1.
Bug to use for the bump: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2156081

Probably should also get this into RHEL too.

FWIW 0.16.1 with a significant bugfix for an issue introduced in 0.15.6 was just released yesterday. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Looks like Neal already covered that part as well.
The s390x builder is down, so I can't actually build it for Fedora yet, so this will have to wait until that's fixed on Monday (hopefully).
Bump? This is a significant problem for Discover's startup time.
I can see AppStream 0.16.1 built in Koji for F37+ so assuming this can be closed already?
Edit: @ngompa did you forget to submit an update for F37? I can see only an update for F38.

I forgot to do it because the AppStream builds were kicked off during the s390x down window.

Plasma 5.27.2 (thus discover) is due tomorrow. Perhaps I could create a sidetag with appstream build and the new plasma and ship them together?
There's already a build and I made an update: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-2709d1600f
And now for 36 too: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-e047db6472
You'll either want to have buildroot overrides or just get enough karma for it to land today.
