fcitx5 offers better integration with KDE out of the box than IBus does. For example, IBus doesn't work on flatpak'ed Chrome on KDE Wayland but fcitx5 has no issues.
I use Aurora image built by Universal Blue. It's not clear to me which step in this process should be adding fcitx5, but I do think having that by default improves user experience.

This has technically been mentioned in #166 I'll defer to @siosm but it might be better to bring this topic up in #166 to keep the discussion around this topic in one spot

This should also be a decision that affects both Kinoite and KDE Spin
I am just putting it here If this ever gets in Fedora by default. Please include Bangla keyboard support https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/badshah/openbangla-keyboard
I'm OK with installing both ibus & fcitx5 on Kinoite if someone does the work to verify that having both installed does not create issues and still lets users switch between the two.
Looks like we would need packages from https://pagure.io/fedora-kde/SIG/issue/166#comment-799511 or https://github.com/ublue-os/aurora/pull/223/files
