I suppose we can drop that from kde-settings, since we set the defaults in kf5-baloo too:

The idea is that we should index only document-centric directories. Upstream agreed with that idea in principle when I mentioned it long ago, but they've yet to implement it. (yes, highlights that I/we should push the patch upstream)
