Hello @rlengland , can I also join x3mboy to work on this project.

@winicarson I'm unclear about what capacity you wish to join in.
Do you mean joining @x3mboy in his on going presentation of Flatpak apps? That would be up to Eduard.
Or do you mean this specific article? I've essentially done the text editing already.
Or do you mean creating the feature image (graphics) for it? If this is your request, then certainly. See what you can come up with. See Creating a featured image for information on how to do that.

Hello @rlengland . Thanks for the reply. Since almost everything has been done, I would love to work on the feature image and if Eduard allows, I would also love to join in the presentation.

See what you can do with the feature image @winicarson
We'll see what @x3mboy has to say about collaborating.

I have no problem with collaboration.

To keep things in order, I use this list: https://hackmd.io/w8kHSE3mRrG1rIBh4_05YA

Test apps on the bottom of the list, and I choose 4 that fit into the categories I'm using in the article:

  • Productivity
  • Games
  • Creativity
  • Miscellaneous

When I'm sure of the ones that I'm going to put on the article (section over the list to test).

My criteria to get apps out the list is:

  1. Usable. I put only apps that can be use after installed
  2. License, I put only FLOSS
  3. Not emulators. Emulators tend to promote piracy, and even when the Free software movement was at first called pirates, that's not a behavior that I endorse.
  4. Runtimes, I try to use only the ones that are updated, unless they are like way too cool, like 0 A.D.
  5. Since a lot of people have concerns about "Peek", I try to check if the apps is currently developed or in development or maintained.

Thanks so much @x3mboy. I would get working immediately

Hello @rlengland , I was able to create a feature image for the article.
