@joseph I've done a first edit pass on your article and it looks pretty good. I've made some minor changes but only in paragraph/section splits.
I did move the top image from being an embedded image to being a featured image. It scaled properly to 1890x800 but I see that the text falls outside the recommended area we suggest in our image template.
The dimension and margins are described in this section of the guide for editors.
I've included the blank SVG template file here:
If you prefer not to get "into the weeds" on this, if you can provide the basic Slimbook picture you used, we can adjust the text appropriately. BUT, feel free to modify it to your liking.
Let us know if you have questions or need assistance.
Thank you for your work on the article.
Will work on the image and try to turn around as early as I can tomorrow.
For the draft, the only thing I added back was near the start so that it still said "Fedora Slimbook 2" instead of just "Slimbook 2".
I attached a new feature image that should respect the margin more. We had to eye ball it because my wife couldn't open the template svg in Canva (she's making these for us).

The feature image looks okay but I think both text blocks should probably be closer to the center lines (both horizontally and vertically) to make it inside the suggested boundaries. Perhaps about a tall letters height in both directions or a little more.
If that can't be done by 1400 UTC 23 April we can go with what you have. It may just not present well on some of the sites that pull the articles in from the magazine.
Other than the possible change in the featured image, I believe this article is good to go.
New feature image added to the article with text more in the middle.
