As a thank you for all the efforts you guys put in maintaining the Fedora Magazine, the design team is working on a set of infographics to highlight the accomplishments of all the people who worked and contributed to Fedora in the past year.
For this, we request you to share accomplishments, stories, metrics etc. of individuals and/or teams in your group! It can be anything like number of posts in a year, number of page visits, number of unique visits, number of shares etc.
Here are a few statistics that might be useful from June 2019 to May 2020:
Some additional stats:
@pfrields @bcotton thanks for helping out!
Hey @bcotton! These stats are great! Can you also give some information that highlights the team too? For example, how many people are in the team, how many new members were added, the top contributors, people who wrote the most popular content etc. We'd love to showcase the amazing people behind the magazine in the infographic!!
I don't think there's a good way to show number of people in the team. Some folks drop in periodically and help. Some have contributed in the past and still could be considered contributors even if they're inactive now. Calling out specific people above others also seems counter-productive -- all contributions are welcome and appreciated, and in my experience highlighting certain individuals arbitrarily can run a risk of demotivating others.
However, it might make sense to mention that we have contributors from around the globe, including Czechia, India, Australia, France, Germany, the UK, the USA, and other countries.
For example, how many people are in the team
There are 11 editorial board members. 185 people have contributed articles. 97 of those authors have only contributed one article.
how many new members were added
That's not an easy number to get.
the top contributors
That's not an easy thing to quantify.
people who wrote the most popular content etc.
That's usually Matthew Miller because release announcements always get the most traffic, so I'm not sure that's a meaningful stat. It's surprisingly difficult to get a rank of all-time most popular posts (or most popular in a particular time period)
I understand
love this!
Thanks for your prompt input @pfrields!! :)

Thanks for getting back so quickly @bcotton! I understand how these things are not really quantifiable or easy to get. I'll just add the first stat!
Here is a list of all articles that received more than 10,000 page views, starting from today to exactly one year ago.
