Hello, I would like to join the Proventesters. I do software testing at my current place of employment.
I would like to get more involved with the Fedora Project, using my current skills and maybe learning some new things along the way.

Have you finished step1: Sign up for the Fedora Account System and apply to join the proventesters group in [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Proven_tester#Joining_the_proven_testers]? Please double check it since your name is not listed in the sponsorship queue and once you've finished this step and learned the instructions, please post feedback here. Thank you.
I went to go join the group and it shows my status as "Unapproved". I see my name 'biggsk' listed, date approved "none". I tried to re-join today, but the status is still set to Unapproved.

maxamillion has sponsored me for membership in the proventesters group. I have read though the information and think I am ready to proceed. I have installed fedora-easy-karma, but I need to wait till later this eve to do the updates. What is the next step? Thanks

Yeah, you are already a proventester now.:) Next, please update with updates-testing repository enabled, do some tests for the updates, and provide feedback either by running fedora-easy-karma or by using Bodhi websites as [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Proven_tester Proventester instruction] guided.
