#114 Proposed Test Day - Virtualization
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by jforbes.

I will be more than happy to plan/host the test day.

Preferred times are 2010-09-23 or 2010-09-30 or any other available day before between the alpha release and then.

There are only a couple of new features to be tested, but we need coverage across the board for virtualization as there has been a good bit of change.

jforb: you can go ahead and pick your preferred date and add it into the schedule - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/Fedora_14_test_days . As long as nothing's listed on that date, it's open.

Hi,

There doesn't seem to be a detailed test plan for the day yet, so wondering how I can be of assistance? :)

The test plans will be posted today, most of this is recycled from F13, with spice being the only really new content.

Closing this ticket. The virtualization test day was hosted on [http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2010-09-23_Virtualization Sept 23, 2010]. I cannot find a test day recap for the event. However, there are some thoughts on the [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_14_QA_Retrospective F-14 QA Retrospective]. An important comment notes that the virt test days seem to offer '''too much''' choice in testing. If we're able to host another event in Fedora 15, let's definitely focus on 1 or 2 core features (or areas) for an event.
