#143 Proventester request for mentor
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by anross.

I have read the Proven Tester Wiki page, and subscribed to the mailing list.

I will follow the instructions for installing/testing critical path updates. I have the updates testing repos enabled on my netbook (F14), laptop (F13). Will be installing rawhide on a desktop machine later today.

I have installed the easy karma utility and will run through it after filing this ticket.

Bug 627269 left /etc/hosts untouched. System is ok. Otherwise untested.

Worked for casual use. System fine.

System works fine. No other testing.

Just re-read the section on crit-paths. Seems that leaving neutral karma is unlikely to help. Will skip similar packages in the future.

Hi Andrew, it seems that you have already satisfied nearly all the requirements for becoming a proventester by reading the relevant Wiki page, enabling updates-testing and have been looking at Fedora Easy Karma - I will be happy to sponsor you provided you finally also confirm via this ticket that you also know how to use the bodhi web interface for feedback on packages that you test. Once that is done I will be happy to sponsor you into the proventester group (and I note that you have already applied for group membership)

Hi Mike,

I am using the Bodhi web interface right now to provide feedback on publican. Therefore can confirm I know how to use the Bodhi web interface for feedback on packages that I test.

Thanks,

Andrew

Andrew - you are hereby sponsored. Enjoy testing as a proventester.

Mike
