Owner: Justin Forbes Time Frame: 10th September - 16th September Features: Kernel 6.5 rebase
As discussed at Flock, we will start hosting test days for each major kernel rebase (approximately every 8-10 weeks). It was discussed that we should extend this to a test week, to allow time for more participants. They have been incredibly helpful so far. As the 6.5 kernel is soon to be released, I would like to get a test week in before we push the rebase to stable releases. I will have ISOs for USB images so that users can test on bare metal or in VMs, and the kernel will be available in the stabilization repo for users who wish to install it on existing systems. The 6.5 kernel will be the release kernel for F39 as well.

For the 6.5 test week, we had 205 tests run from 88 testers. While this number is lower than usual, I believe a lot of it had to do with the beta timing. Luckily, Beta was also on a 6.5 kernel, so realistically we probably had much more people interacting with the kernel and filing bugs when they ran across issues compared to a normal test week. Thanks again for all of your work with this @sumantrom
