#75 proventester mentor request: rdieter
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by rdieter.

I'd like to request a mentor to become a member of proventesters group.

Thank you for the request, we are continuing to define the proventester process. I will leave your ticket open until someone from the QA team can act on the request and provide test guidance. Stay tuned, and feel free to take part in the discussion at test@lists.fedoraproject.org

Hi! So we're now accepting proven testers candidates. Can you please read the proven tester instructions at:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Proven_tester

and confirm that you've read and understand them and will do your testing in accordance with those? Also that you know how to enable the updates-testing repository, and use the Bodhi web interface - http://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/ - or the fedora-easy-karma utility to provide feedback? If you have any questions or problems with the process, please ask and I'll help out, that's what mentors are for! Once you're clear on the process, I'll sponsor you into the proventesters group. Thanks a lot for volunteering.

Hi, I am already a packager and would like to join the proven testers. I am familiar with the tools of the trade such as using bodhi and fedora-easy-karma and use updates-testing quite often.

I have been with the Red Hat/Fedora for a long time. The only version I have not used is Fedora Core 1. As at the time I was still heart sunk into RHL9. I started using Fedora when RHL 9 finally died and I began using FC2. Thanks for considering my application.

Randall, could you please file a new ticket? We can't keep track of things properly if you comment on someone else's application :). Thanks!

OK, read and understand wiki instructions so far... and applied for provenpackager in fas

Then you are hereby anointed a proven tester - go forth and test!
