#811 6.15 kernel test week 8th Jun - 14th Jun
Opened 2 months ago by jforbes. Modified 19 days ago

Owner: Justin Forbes
Time Frame: 8th Jun - 14th Jun
Features: Kernel 6.15 rebase

As discussed at Flock, we will start hosting test days for each major kernel rebase (approximately every 8-10 weeks). It was discussed that we should extend this to a test week, to allow time for more participants. They have been incredibly helpful so far. As the 6.15 kernel is released, I would like to get a test week in before we push the rebase to stable releases. I will have ISOs for USB images so that users can test on bare metal or in VMs, and the kernel will be available in the stabilization repo for users who wish to install it on existing systems.

@jforbes , what were the results like? do we have numbers? This was between flock and devconf.. I am curious what this looked like!

I do not have the exact numbers to post because of the datacenter move, but we had a bit over 200 tests run. The response was a bit smaller than usual, but not drastically so. Thank you for your help with this!
