Based on my participation in F12 and F13 pre-release test days and my work with the Fedora-Unity folks in testing their respins - I am requesting a mentor to achieve the status or Proven Tester going forward thru the F14 cycle.

Hi Bob,
Glad to see you as a proven testers candidate. Can you please read the proven tester instructions at: * https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Proven_tester
Once you have read the instructions, please confirm that you ... 1. have read and understand the instructions, and intend to follow the instructions when testing Fedora critical path updates 2. understand how to enable the update-testing repository 3. are familiar with providing test feedback using either the [http://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/ Bodhi web interface], or the [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Easy_Karma fedora-easy-karma utility]
Feel free to discuss with me if you have any questions or concerns. Once you're clear on the process, I'll sponsor you into the proventesters group. Thanks a lot for volunteering.
Have a nice day! ( ̄︶ ̄)y
Hi Bob, here I forward your email, which proves you're qualified to be a proven tester. I've sponsored your application. Enjoy your testing now! {{{ On Wed, 2010-07-07 at 07:55 -0400, Bob Lightfoot wrote: Dear rhe:
Forgive the delay in my response. Somehow I missed your initial email notifying me I had been assigned a potential sponsor. To answer your quesitons. 1. I have reviewed the proven testers guidelines and followed them for most all testing I've done since applying for sponsorship. 2. I have the updates-testing repository enabled on my test VM's already. 3. I am familiar with both the bodhi web interface and f-e-k utility. My only concern is I have a limited exposure to Fedora thus far and the better test criteria we can place in the comments of bodhi and f-e-k the better job we proven-testers will do validating that packages work as advertised. Sincerely, BobLfoot
