Hi,
We are trying to remove definition of legacy nodesets in the Fedora Zuul CI config (https://pagure.io/fedora-zuul-jobs/pull-request/165) however at least one branch of this project includes a reference to a legacy nodeset (https://pagure.io/fedora-zuul-jobs/pull-request/165#comment-182589). The way Zuul loads its configuration (especially with the Pagure driver) it attempts to read Zuul config files from every branches (https://zuul-ci.org/docs/zuul/latest/project-config.html#configuration-loading).
Could it be possible to delete branches that reference legacy nodesets ?
Thanks in advance for your help. Fabien
deleted, but I gotta say this seems like a design that is only ever going to cause you pain :D

Could it be possible to update or delete that branch ?
Thanks in advance for the help.

If this is going to be a recurring thing, could you perhaps make your script list all the problematic branches in a repo, not just die on the first one it hits? That would make the process more efficient...:D deleted.
Thanks, but yes this is problematic then we will change the strategy: https://pagure.io/fedora-zuul-jobs/pull-request/165#comment-182824 Hopefully we'll be able to bring back soon removed repos.
We just landed 165 and merged the revert https://pagure.io/fedora-project-config/pull-request/252 . Projects are back in the Zuul config. Zuul might have ignored branches with removed nodesets. I'm closing the issue. Sorry for the noise. Please let us know if you see any issues.
