As we do for various other images (Workstation and KDE live, everything netinst, Silverblue, and a container image) we could/should build a Cloud disk image and test it as part of the update test set (for relevant updates, obviously). This could prevent something like https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2390898 making it stable in future.

Working on this in https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/pull-request/415 . It will also require changes in fedora_openqa and comps (to put cloud-init in the critpath).
Whee, lots of things:
First three are merged, last two are pending. There's still one more thing to do later - add the real gating rules. But we have to wait a bit before we do that - we want most currently-pending updates to go stable first, otherwise they'll suddenly fail gating because the cloud tests will not have been run on them. After a few weeks, most pending updates will have cloud tests, only really old ones that got stuck for some reason won't, and we can manually trigger tests for those.
OK, this is all done now except for adding the actual gating rules. Will do that later as explained above.
