I have this buildroot override still shown:

It has expiry date set in the future, but in fact has been expired 3 days ago, once the relevant update was pushed to stable.

So, the code handles these situations properly, just bodhi_overrides weren't refreshed since 8th of June. I've refreshed it manually and I'll investigate why no refresh happened for overrides.
