#45 Show ETA for updates-testing > (stable) updates
Closed: Fixed by frantisekz. Opened by frantisekz.

  • Could there be some way to show on bodhi updates if they are set to go
stable after time how far away that time is? I mean say you submit foo
as an update and after 1 week it should get autosubmitted for stable, so
on that page of the dashboard have "goes stable in 2 days" or something?

How is this ETA computed?

I have this update: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-c4403da66d

Dashboard says "created 3 days ago for Fedora 32, goes stable in 4 days"

However, the update won't got stable in 4 days, because the build was edited and the timer got restarted.

As another example this update https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-d808fdd597 says in dashboard "created 10 days ago for Fedora 31, goes stable in 4 days" however in fact bodhi says: "days to stable - 7" because the update was pushed to testing couple days after it was created.
