"Desktops: KDE, XFCE, GNOME, and others" should be "Desktops: KDE Plasma Desktop, XFCE, GNOME, and others"

on http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora-options#desktops it should be "Fedora 14 KDE Plasma Desktop Edition" (we target F14). "KDE-based Fedora desktop." should become "KDE Plasma Workspace based Fedora Desktop".

why? can you please provide a rationale? we are tight for space in that section.

It's upstream's rebranding effort - we are going to have Plasma Netbook desktop too etc. KDE should not be used as a label for desktop, it's Plasma Desktop now by KDE community. For transition period I'd like to have KDE included too (one, two releases).

Already opened, ticket #27 as I mentioned here.

I'm not saying it has to be so strict - actually I'm not sure about dropping "KDE" label right now but...

fyi, this really should land for f14...

what's the current state? F14 is out but still with old not rebranded KDE spin.

Fix already assigned in ticket 27 and it's for Fedora 14 while current release is at 16. Closing the ticket
