Please, we would want to add "www.fedora-it.org" website to fedoracommunity.org (EMEA area - Region: Italy). fedora-it.org is part of ILDN (Italian Linux Distro Network) and is whole dedicated to the Fedora world and to the involvement of Fedora Project in the FOSS movement.
sagitter write to fedora website mailing list too. I reply to his emails. Please consider it: http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/websites/2012-May/019624.html
Thank you and sorry for my possible bad English.
First of all, as requested on the mailing list, you need to have a Trademark license agreement[1] for your domain name. Please see[2]. We won't add a link to a not approved domain name.
Secondly, thanks to marionline and Robert, we have some input explaining that this request could divide the Italian community. I already know some Italian ambassadors, they are working hard to grow the Italian community.
We can't just add a link to a third party website, please, get in touch with fedoraonline, see if you could add a link on each websites… See how you can share your resources (one providing a blog while the other would provide forums…).
Of course, with the trademark agreement and the approval of the Italian community, there would be no reason to not add an other URL on fedoracommunity.org. Please work on both points, and get back to us.
Cheers,
Is this still needed? I can see http://www.fedora-it.org is rather outdated and not maintained actually, although it's still running.
Local community websites on fcomm should be maintained, this one seems not, contnet is still for F18. I'm closing this ticket for now.
