We need to figure out how we're going to integrate KDE into Workstation beyond just including qt and qt5 base libraries.
Does it get installed via the software-installer, does it get pre-installed alongside GNOME?
Given there will not be package selection in the WS Installer then it seems that KDE (and other desktops/window managers) should be a post-installation option that users could add via the software-installer. It doesn't seem right to include KDE in every user's WS install.
Is it easy to find/select the KDE Desktop in gnome-software? Users can also still do "yum/dnf install @kde-desktop" of course...
Yeah, my general idea would be to install it through the software installer too. It is the place anyone should be going to find more software for the workstation. Allan Day is working with Richard Hughes on trying to figure out the details of how it will work.

We decided long ago not to support the KDE desktop, but to focus on making Qt apps look nice in Workstation. This was realized by QGnomePlatform. Closing.
