When booting the Fedora live media, there isn't a GUI boot screen like the one that shows when the system is installed. Instead, a text-based boot screen shows.
Hi, I don't think this issue tracker is a good place to track bootloader redesign. What you're proposing sounds like a lot of work. Try talking to bootloader developers instead!

Please file a bug with Lorax. That's where the issue is.
This isn't a design request. The boot screen in the live media shows in a text mode, unlike the boot screen from the installed system. Something seems wrong.
Thanks!
Lorax doesn't include rhgb quiet for live media boot. It's in scope of the working group to discuss what the behavior is for Workstation Live media booting.
rhgb quiet
Because of the nature of testing Fedora installation media, I think QA will have an opinion. When there are boot related problems in automated testing, openQA takes screenshots and includes them in the logs, so if we were to go with graphical booting, the troubleshooting potential would be reduced by getting useless screenshots that don't show the boot scroll.

Workstation WG supports this change and would like to see the plymouth boot splash displayed when booting the live media. Feel free to report a bug against Lorax and mention that we support the change. Ultimately it will be up to the Lorax developers.
