Could we please add the terminal app to the Gnome dock by default? We do this in RHEL but not in Fedora WS? It is really convenient to be able to just click on the terminal icon to bring it up without typing from the overview. Pretending that users don't need to use a terminal often is just naive in my opinion.

Surely users who know what a terminal is can pin it easily enough?
Putting such a confusing and advanced application in the dash by default seems pretty aggressive to me.

To me this would imply we are failing at delivering a complete desktop experience to end users, which I disagree.
I do know people that use Fedora as a daily driver without even knowing what a Terminal emulator is.
