One thing worth mentioning for F42 is the new stable flatpak release (once it gets in)

Another thing worth mentioning is the SDL3 transition and Wayland-by-default for sdl apps.

On the gnome side, there is the new well-being feature

I think it would be great to include some more details in the next update (I guess there will be a F42 final article ?). GNOME 48 is a pretty big release, as far as GNOME releases go. It is crammed full with new features, some of them very long-awaited, like triple buffering, or Wayland accessibility, and new fonts.

One thing worth keeping in mind is that the big GNOME 48 update missed the F42 beta, so some of these things will only drop after the beta. That is a bit unfortunate, but better late than never.
It might be worth tweeting about the fact that the GNOME 48 release will land in F42 updates after the beta.

In the last WG call, I've volunteered myself to do a release party video again for F42, btw.
