http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Workstation/Technical_Specification#Core_Package_list seems to diverge somewhat from the actual package sets going into WS composes/spins currently.
We noticed this while reviewing the list from an i18n perspective in https://fedorahosted.org/i18n/ticket/30#comment:2 which notes that at least ibus-m17n is missing and various fonts, as already noted in http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Workstation/Technical_Specification#TODO_2.
While it is a nice idea trying to list every required core package in the Tech Spec I am not sure it is practical to maintain it there. Maybe it would be better to refer to comps and spin-kickstarts, or at least make use of yum groups for things like @fonts and @input-methods? I think Workstation (along with other desktop spins) is the primary consumer of those groups anyway.
We recently removed the package list from the technical spec after determining that it was redundant with comps, so this issue should be closed.
