@tdecacqu @fbo this now works for me locally, but it showed another problem - our service is not able to fetch a reference and checkout. I am looking into if we can support it, currently Fedora CI calls the service using the for repo and the branch name.

the problem was resolved, I believe we can merge this now \o/

@tdecacqu can you merge pls?
