The josm package[0] has not seen any update by its maintainer, cquad, in 14 months. Multiple attempts of contacting the maintainer have failed.
Steps of the Policy for non responsive package maintainers [1] 1. No answer for >4 months from maintainer does indicate he/she is not on vacation. 2. and 3.: See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1500778 4. https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/TCFHFWMXKBGUJWHZZSWGZX5DTS7N6GDQ/

Please orphan this package. Rationale: JOSM upstream is very active with a release every few days. There is no "stable" channel with less releases and the APIs it uses tend to be short-lived either. Due to this, a josm version which is a few months old may not work any more with the OpenStreetMap servers. Also, policies in how to map objects change fast and JOSM is being modified to keep up with those. Having someone use an old version of JOSM may result in their contributions to OSM being useless to the community due to old standards.
Are you volunteering to take over the package?
No, I am not.
