I can pick up the ones I want after they have been orphaned. additional notes:
It has technically not been 7 days since I filed the non-responsive maintainer bug against one of their packages, but since then, the FailsToInstall policy has already taken effect and orphaned some of olem's packages (including the one I filed the non-responsive maintainer bug against), so that point is kind of moot anyway.
Their activity in Fedora seems to have abruptly stopped around Dec. 6, 2021, so I hope they are alright. I also sent Olivier a private email off-list on Jan. 6, 2022, and didn't get a response to that, either.
This is a ticket for the Fedora's Policy for nonresponsive package maintainers.

Hi,
Sorry for being unresponsive. I still want to contribute to Fedora and I'd still like to maintain these packages and complete the packaging of Wasmtime. I had trouble recently to find time to contribute (covid, then simply work for my day jobs), but I should be able to fix the packages in the coming days. May I re-assign these packages to myself?
@olem yes, you can just click the "Take" button on the pages of the packages that were orphaned, at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/$package
I can help with packaging everything that's required for wasmtime, it would be great to have it in Fedora. If you need help with fixing the things that are already packaged, please, don't hesitate to reach out, or leave a comment on bugs that you need help with.
FWIW, I consider this ticket resolved now.
