#2986 A horrible, unacceptable, despicable situation with Fedora Bugzilla
Closed: Invalid 2 years ago by name. Opened 2 years ago by name.

Let me be brutally honest: I'm extremely upset with how Fedora Bugzilla is being handled.

For the past > 12 months users have not been able/allowed to change the target release field for bug reports/feature requests and Fedora has a habit of closing bug reports pertaining to older unsupported Fedora releases.

Yesterday I received ~12 emails about bug reports which had been closed and I neither can reopen them, nor I can change the target release/Fedora version.

All the bug reports are still valid. I will not try to file them again, because it's sounds completely stupid. Let me just say it: f*** it!

From what it seems Fedora does not need or want user bug reports. If that's the case shut down your bugzilla completely. Don't make it look like you care when you obviously don't.

Sorry, if that's the wrong place to raise this issue. I've no idea how IBM/RedHat/Fedora operate and I don't need to know.

Could you please be more descriptive? What actually happened? What bugzillas were closed and why?

Never mind, the field has just been hidden. Sorry for the noise. Really sorry.

No need to be sorry for the noise. I'd rather you were sorry for the attitude.
