I'm putting a procedural -1 here until the upgrade issue is addressed. I've added comments to the Discourse discussion on the matter.
Yeah, the preliminary conclusion is that there should be an upgrade scriplet and that it'll work most of the time, but not always, and that it should be executed from a separate systemd unit. So let's wait for the discussion to finish.
