I just noticed that Andreas Thienemann seems to be unresponsive:
There are 48 open bugs assigned to him including 3 security bugs: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?resolution=---&emailtype1=exact&query_format=advanced&emailassigned_to1=1&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=MODIFIED&bug_status=ON_DEV&bug_status=ON_QA&bug_status=VERIFIED&bug_status=RELEASE_PENDING&bug_status=POST&product=Fedora&product=Fedora%20EPEL&email1=andreas%40bawue.net
They include some bugs that are very old about broken packages: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=460557 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=445598 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=507886
Also there are 28 WONTFIX bugs since 2008-01-01 assigned to him: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?resolution=WONTFIX&emailtype1=exact&chfieldto=Now&emailassigned_to1=1&query_format=advanced&chfieldfrom=2008-01-01&bug_status=CLOSED&product=Fedora&product=Fedora%20EPEL&email1=andreas%40bawue.net This list also includes security bugs.
The last build is from 2009-10-21: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/builds?userID=ixs
He is the owner of 55 packages: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/users/packages/ixs?acls=owner
I did not spot any nonresponsive maintainer procedure contact attemtps, but this looks like a candidate for the fast track procedure, since there was no activity for a long time: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Policy_for_nonresponsive_package_maintainers#Fast_Track_procedure
Nah. I have indeed been unable to do much work on Fedora in the last year. But I think I have some more time now that one quite demanding work project is done. For good.
Even closed a bug on Friday. :)
But seriously, the important like Bacula all have comaintainers, so that I do not even have to build updates.
So I guess fast track would be a bit premature.
What do you think?
Since you responded, there is no need to continue the process, but also for the "non important" packages you should seek co-maintainers to get the bugs fixed. And what about the security bugs? Are they taken care of?
It would be good to handle or have someone assist you in handling the security bugs ASAP.
After that, perhaps it would be worth asking for co-maintainers on the other packages you don't have as much time for? Thanks.
I believe the security bugs are fixed. Partly they have been added after an update was fixed as a kind of tracking bug.
But I'll verify that this is indeed the case for every package.
