#1514 Inactive packager detected for user amluto
Closed: Removed from packagers by mattia. Opened by mattia.

Hello @amluto,

during our periodic check as per the "Inactive packagers policy"
we detected no activity from you as a packager, nor in
other Fedora community places, like Bodhi or mailing lists.

In order to reduce security risks from possible accounts hijacking
we're trying to contact you to know if you're still reachable and
if your email set in Fedora Account System (lu**@kernel.org) is still valid.

Please, let us know if you're still intersted in participating
in Fedora and if you still need your account to be listed in the packager group.

Without any reply from you, in two months we will proceed to remove
your account from the packager group. Your account will still be active.

The following is a list of packages that may become orphan if the user
is removed from the packager group. Affected co-maintainers users and groups are provided
as well:

  • coin-or-lemon (affected users: @sagitter)
  • fish (affected users: @ohaessler, @svashisht)
  • nvme-cli (affected users: @tbzatek)
  • u2f-hidraw-policy
  • virtme

Uhm, these are weird processes. I'm in touch with Andy from time to time, mostly on the bugzilla side and over e-mail.

So maybe you can get in touch with them and ask them to reply to this ticket.
The fact they was listed as inactive means they didn't show any Fedora activity for over 1 year (1 year + 1 month now). This process is not weird, it is done to assure we don't leave unattended and possibly compromised accounts with packaging rights. I don't think reply to a ticket once per year to say "I'm still active" is so burdensome.

User amluto will be removed from packager group.
