#387 [Talk-25]: 25 Minute Talk - Curious Curiosity, can we learn to be more curious?
Closed: Talk Scheduled 2 years ago by isagordillo. Opened 2 years ago by cverna.

CfP Submission for Nest with Fedora 2022 is now open

This year our contributor conference will be virtual! You have the option to submit live or pre-recorded sessions.

What is your proposal?

Curiosity is this century super power! It is driving innovation and has a critical role in generating solutions to a lot of challenging problems we are facing in our day to day life. So can we learn to think out the box?

In this presentation we will define together what is curiosity and its opposite, look at the important role curiosity has in our personal development and finally we will explore how to train ourselves to become more intentional about being curious.

This session is for all public and the main goal is to get you curious about curiosity :-)

Who in addition to the speaker needs to be in the virtual room for this to succeed? This could be the audience you need to reach, other participants in the conversation, or other stakeholders.

List each person by their name and FAS ID, as shown below:

Thank you for your submission!

At this time, your proposed session is under consideration for this year's Nest with Fedora event. The CfP review team have the following comments/suggestions to help improve your proposal, or make it more suitable for the audience we expect at Nest this year.

  • Would love to attend but not sure if I would expect to see this at Nest
  • Can it be a bit more focused on "how can curiosity super power Fedora?"

Please provide feedback based on these comments. We want to give everyone who submitted a proposal the opportunity to present at Nest if the content fits and there is still room in the schedule. Feel free to respond on this ticket.

If you have further questions or need assistance feel free to email mnordin (at) redhat (dot) com. Thanks again for your proposal!

Hi Marie, sorry for not replying the first time. I am going to include some example of how we can be more curious in Fedora but the core of the presentation will be focused on Curiosity.

I am good with any of these options (ranked by preference):

1 - Friday 10:30-11:00 EDT
2 - Thursday 11:30-12:00 EDT
3 - Saturday 11:00-11:30 EDT
4 - Saturday 15:00-15:30 EDT

Hi @cverna you are on the schedule for the Thursday 11:30-12:00 EDT time slot! Thank you for your flexibility and I am looking forward to the talk :)
