Some certificates which have been issued by the internal IPA CA are grayed out in the on the WebUI certificate overview page but not when you search for the
same certificate.

This happens for all certs with serial number > 100.

Caused by internal sizelimit: " 100 is passed to Dogtag in ipaserver/plugins/dogtag.py when size limit is not specified."
