ipa-replica-install command should display proper message on the console when its successful
Currently when ipa-replica-install command is successful it can be confirmed only in the replicainstall.log file, there is no such information displayed on the console.

I don't think the installation should be classified as successful, you received the message:
"Global DNS configuration in LDAP server is empty"
I would guess that you ran the first server installation without setting up integrated DNS, so the replica installation cannot use the "--setup-dns" option.
Even though the services are running, configuration is not complete...
