This is a clone of https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-133342

When a trust was established pre samba 4.23, the upgrade to samba 4.23 breaks winbind.

  1. Install ipa server and setup trust on rhel-9.7
  2. Upgrade to latest rhel-9.8 version
  3. ipa-server-upgrade
  4. ipactl restart

After upgrade kinit is failing

version after upgrade :
ipa-server-4.12.2-25.el9.x86_64

version before upgrade
ipa-server-4.12.2-22.el9_7.1.x86_64
