Bumping version to 1.6.0 would make more sense since the release contains new feature.

Let's try to merge also PR#582.

"Hangings" sounds very dark. Perhaps:

Koji XML RPC calls now use ``REQUESTS_TIMEOUT`` option instead of the
unspecified default timeout which caused waiting on results indefinitely.
