+ = How to add your RSS feed in Fedora Planet?

+

+ This SOP explains how to add your blog to link:https://fedoraplanet.org/[Fedora Planet].

+

+ == Procedure

+

+ . Access your account on link:https://accounts.fedoraproject.org/[Fedora Planet].

+

+ . Click on "edit profile".

+

+ image:add_rss_fedora_planet_profile.png[image]

+

+ . Find the "RSS URL" field and add your RSS feed.

+

+ image:add_rss_fedora_planet_field.png[image]

+

+ . Save your changes

+

+ That's it! Fedora Planet builds at short intervals, so on the next build, your posts will appear on Fedora Planet.

+

+ == FAQ

+

+ . Is there a way to remove specific posts from Fedora Planet?

+

+ No, because the posts come from the sites that Fedora users post in their RSS feeds. Therefore, to remove a post, it must be removed at the source.

+

+ . How can I make posts in separate locations on Fedora Planet, like security, design, etc.?

+

+ You can't do that anymore. Previously, Fedora Planet had these subtopics we called subplanets. Through a community survey in Fedora, it was decided to remove the subplanets. So now all posts are compiled on the main page.

Might note that they should use https:// links not http://

I guess this is for end users? Perhaps we want to modify (after we change from the old one) https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Planet instead for end users?

Or fold in some of the notes from there? Not sure if we want to point end users here.

I was thinking perhaps more of a SOP, under sysadmin_guide/pages/ that had things like: How do you update the application, how to adjust how often it runs, etc. :)
