#1 Source fonts (.sfd) cannot be edited with FontForge
Closed: Invalid Opened by nicubunu.

When trying to open any of the source fonts, for example LiberationMono-Bold.sfd from trunk with FontForge I receive the following error: "LiberationMono-Bold.sfd is not a known format (or is so badly corrupted as to be unreadable)".

This is happening with the latest FontForge from Fedora 9.

My intention is to add a few missing characters (U+0218, U+0219, U+021A and U+021B) to make the font compliant with the Romanian language and submit back the new version (I can do that using FontForge and TTFs, but I expect it is indicated to work on sources, .sfd).

This is a fontforge bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=459451
