Outcome

  • Users will understand what Modularity means for Server
    • Benefits of Modularity like version streams
    • Not 100% content coverage now
    • Fedora on a server vs. Fedora Server Edition
  • Users will know that we listen to them
    • Basically all of F26 Boltron feedback has been implemented
  • Users will know what, how, and when to upgrade
    • Upgrading every release?
      • F26 Traditional Server ---> F28 Modular Server (skip one release this time)
      • F26 Traditional Server ---> F27 Traditional Everything (don't go modular)
    • Upgrading every two releases/once a year?
      • F26 Traditional Server ---> F28 Modular Server (no changes for you)
      • F25 Traditional Server ---> F26 Traditional Server ---> F28 Modular (upgrade to the next this time)
      • F25 Traditional Server ---> F27 Traditional Everything (don't go modular)
  • We will get feedback from users that we can use to make F28 better

Scope

  • Modularity Website
    • Landing page
    • Docs section
  • Fedora Docs (extending existing F27 Release Notes)
  • Google Forms (to get user feedback)

Just a note for myself: to modify the Fedora Docs website, I should send a PR to this repo: https://pagure.io/fedora-docs/release-notes

I think this can be closed.

Yeah, that's been done some time ago. :)
