my name is Jakub and I am part of Fedora for almost 9 years, which is the time I am using my Fedora and the time I maintained some packages including OpenSSH, gnupg, cyrus sasl, OpenSC, libssh and more. I was helping several people around me to get into Fedora, with PR reviews, package reviews and more so I think I spent enough time in this role and I would like to move forward officially to the sponsor group.

For the requirements:

Maintain at least three packages.

I have 68 packages right now. Not all of them are my primary responsibility, but I am trying to help when needed. Not all of them are alive, as there are some failed attempts as Java packaging. My current responsibility is mostly Smart Cards stack and gnupg2 suite:

Have done five high quality, nontrivial package reviews.

Have been members of the packager group for at least one release cycle (generally six months) so that they have seen the process of branching for a new release.

8 years should be enough.
