I'm requesting sponsorship in order to co-maintain the package libcap.
libcap
This is the PR, but I still have a couple of questions in order to complete it. PR https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libcap/pull-request/11
Non-responsive maintainer issue approved: https://pagure.io/fesco/issue/3085
I have been a daily linux user since early 2000. My experience with rpm specs has been mainly in the corporate environment and a personal copr: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/carlosrodrifernandez/prometheus-extras/ I also have experience with C programming, and the domain of this package: the Linux capabilities.
I have been mainly contributing to the CentOS Stream ci testing coverage, and testing tools. I picked this one up because I was eager to learn more about all the Fedora distro ecosystem, it didn't get updates too frequently, and to give back by contributing to the distro I use daily.
Thank you!
COPR build for Fedora Rawhide: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/carlosrodrifernandez/libcap/build/6663338/
I have sponsored Carlos and will watch him for a while.

@carlosrodrifernandez please log out and back in to dist-git (https://src.fedoraproject.org/) so that your new privileges are reflected. I can't add you as co-maintainer before that.
My responsibilities to you are outlined here: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Packager_sponsor_policy/#responsibilities You can see that if you have any questions about packaging, policy or Fedora in general you can ask me about them; or you can post on the Fedora devel list.
Use your packaging powers wisely.
I meant dist-git instead of FAS. Comment edited.
