Good Evening,

I'm juju8901 and I'm looking to get into package maintenance. Not sure where I want to go exactly, but my recent focuses at work have been wrapped around containers.
I'm a Senior Linux Admin of 8 years but I started with Solaris 6 and RHEL 4 back in the Navy, and I also work maintenance for all of our systems running Red Hat 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,(I know.), as well as special interest projects such as linux VDI using vmware horizon.

Just looking to learn more and contribute to the community, I have a passion for open source, and I would love to work for Red Hat one day soon.

Folks are typically sponsored when someone can review their packaging skills and they point to some specific thing(s) that they would like to maintain.

Please take a look at https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Joining_the_Package_Maintainers/
for ideas. Can you go look through that and then when you find/submit something you would like to maintain, reopen this or file a new issue?

You can also discuss things/introduce yourself on the devel list and get pointers for where you might contribute.
