I didn't do packaging for ~15 years but more recently it has proven several times as bottleneck within other Fedora projects. So I try to smoothly "return to packaging", learn how it's done in Fedora and how to integrate it efficiently into my workflow.

Starting with a new package from scratch feels like the best way to actively learn about the current packaging of Fedora.

Currently, most of my activities are in the Security SIG, in which I am one of the sponsors. The same for the Discourse moderation. I guess many know me already :)

I will generally only consider to take over packages that are very predictable in terms of the time that has to be invested (packaging will never be my main activity and I want to avoid to become a bottleneck myself). But I aim to start helping to co-maintain other packages over time. I aim to do this also for epel at a later time, in order to find out about its practical implications and how it integrates in practice.
