It is more than reasonable to think that when you're assigned to a ticket you want to receive notifications about it as well.
I suppose that this would be performed by checking the "Activate cc me to my actions" in "My settings" but that does not solve the problem when you're assigned to a ticket by a third party (e.g. your manager).

@stlaz have you unwatched the project? Because, that would remove you from all the notifications.

If you have unwatched it, this means you don't want to get bothered by the notifications related to this project.

Although, seeing this issue reminds me that there is a small flaw in this watch system. Will try to fix that.

By unwatching a project I assume I won't be bothered by any random ticket but that does not mean I don't want to be bothered by all of them. I hope the small flaw is just this.
