This would have to leave outside of the main pagure project, as a separate one.
The idea is to have a milter that is generic, you provide it with a mapping like: email address -> project and for each email received at this email address, it will create a ticket on the associated project.
We can make it generic as it could be re-used by any projects upon demand.

Is someone working on this ? Or is it still needed ?
I wouldn't mind working on this
@pingou @cverna Just stumbled across this issue. I also think this feature could actually be of great use to some of the Trac-heavy projects, particularly the Free Media program (I think @ankursinha is looking into the migration).
I can also think of ways this feature would be useful for the Fedora Magazine as well, with the feedback we receive from readers via email on writing ideas, How Do You Fedora articles, and more. @ryanlerch and @pfrields, do you think it would be helpful to have a (probably private) repository that creates tickets based on emails from the feedback form in the Magazine? If this would be possible?
IMHO this ticket is out of scope for pagure itself. Closing as invalid.
