See for example https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/kanyremote/blob/f27/f/kanyremote.spec (I've used an EOL branch here, so the content remains consistent, but currently also happens on master).

It gives me error 500.

The file is not valid UTF-8. I guess it is relevant.
