It would be helpful to show Issues and Pull-request numbers in the tab label, similar to github, so a contributor can see at a glance how active things are. Right now I look at the top bar and instinctually think 'oh there's no issues or pull-requests, maybe this project is dead/inactive/hosted elsewhere'

This is already fixed in git, will be part of 1.0 :)

No problem, there is big change coming to pagure with 1.0 so there are quite a few things that are missing here but are in git :)
